Aglio e Olio

    This really easy Aglio e Olio recipe can be made up in under 30 minutes with less than 10 ingredients. Your whole family will love it!

    2 servings

    1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and generously season with salt.

    2. Cook spaghetti till al-dente and set aside once cooked.  Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.

    3. Add your olive oil to a medium-sized pan or cast-iron skillet and heat on medium for 30 seconds before adding the garlic.

    4. Cook down the garlic for 5-6 minutes, stirring often to avoid burning. Once golden and fragrant, add the parmesan cheese - evenly over the entire pan - and cook down for 1-2 minutes.  Dust with chili flakes (as desired) and add your pasta to the pan.

    5. Add reserve pasta water, a tiny pinch of sea salt, black pepper and fresh thyme or parsley. Cook, coat and toss till hot throughout.

    6. Enjoy hot with a glass of wine and warm, crispy garlic toast.
